VIA to host its first Chicken Pie Supper in Central Vermont!

The congregations of Vermont Interfaith Action of Central Vermont will host a Chicken Pie Supper at Christ Church in Montpelier on Saturday, November 7 with two sittings at 5:00 and 6:30 p.m. A vegan alternative will also be served.  Tickets are 10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 5-12.  Children under age 5 are free.  For reservations, please call 229-5496.

The event is a fundraiser for Vermont Interfaith Action (VIA), which is a faith-based, grassroots coalition of congregations in Burlington and Central Vermont, representing nearly 3,000 families from many faiths, including Catholics, Jews, Presbyterians, Episcopalians, Unitarian Universalists, and members of the United Church of Christ.  VIA’s goal is to create the hope, power, knowledge, and political will needed to make compassion and social justice a reality for all Vermonters.
