VIA to Celebrate MLK Day!

The Vermont Interfaith Action (VIA) congregations of Central Vermont will meet together at the Unitarian Church in Montpelier to celebrate Martin Luther King Day on Sunday, January 17.  A potluck will be held at 5:15 p.m., followed by a meeting from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Please bring a dish to share or contribute a small monetary amount (suggested donation: $2).

This VIA meeting will celebrate the accomplishments of the faith-based community organizing methods of Martin Luther King and demonstrate how these same methods can be effective in today’s world. Participants will have the opportunity to share with members of different faiths and develop practical skills in community organizing.
