CELEBRATING THE FREEDOM of refugees recently arrived in Vermont from all over the world.
Human freedom is the goal of all of the world’s great religious traditions. Passover celebrates the liberation of the children of Israel from slavery more than three thousand years ago. At the Passover seder, we share stories of searching for and finding freedom.
Please join us as we celebrate together our own freedom and the liberation and freedom of our neighbors who have fled tyrannies around the world. May we bear witness to the variety of ways in which different religions tell the story of freedom.
Refugees are our guests.
Others $25/adult; $10/children 7-12; free/children 6 & younger
Sponsorships/$100 including dinner will ensure places at the table for refugees (with any additional proceeds donated to support the work of Vermont Interfaith Action)
For tickets or more information, please contact the VIA representative in your congregation or the VIA office at office@viavt.org or 651-8889.
