New Shuttle Service for Tilley Drive

Dear VIA Leaders and Friends,

I wanted to draw your attention to more press coverage of our work on getting public transportation to the medical facilities at Tilley Drive. Here’s the link to the Free Press article.

The shuttle will begin February 1, and we are very excited to have been able to bring these parties together to get the service off the ground! Many congratulations to the LOCs at St. Paul’s Cathedral and Christ Church, Presbyterian!

One clarification of the article: while Fletcher Allen is the largest donor of the five partners paying for the shuttle, they are not contributing almost $50,000, as the lead-in suggests. The initial commitment from all the partners is for 5 months, at $4,000 per month – with the expectation that the shuttle will become permanent in future.
