July 27, 2018

Solidarity Walk for Immigrant Justice

Begins: Wednesday, August 22nd 10 am 275 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH 03101

Ends: Saturday, August 25th, Strafford County House of Corrections 266 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820

Stops in : Candia, Epping, Lee and Dover.

Each night we will offer a community potluck, mediation or prayer  and a program about the Immigrant crisis facing our nation.

The purpose of our walk is to raise the profile of immigrant issues, engage faith communities in a deeper way, strengthen our solidarity  and to send a strong message to I.C.E. and Congress that we will not be silent while our immigrant neighbors are detained and deported!

We will end on Saturday with a prayerful action  at the Strafford County House of Corrections, which is where I.C.E. detains immigrants in New Hampshire.

We will walk approximately 10 -12 miles per day.  Walkers are welcome for all 4 days, one day or one hour.
